The approved senate list of tertiary institutions in Nigeria will be uploaded on notice boards or compiled in PDF format and shared through your school’s official social media pages.
Visit your school student affairs unit or join your department or faculty’s WhatsApp groups to get access to the uploaded senate approved list.
You cannot check it yet on the portal online until your school submits it physically at the NYSC headquarters.
Some schools may delay in the release of their lists but will definitely meet the deadline set by NYSC.
For locally trained graduates, only those whose names appear on the senate/academic board approved result lists submitted by their institutions will have access to register on the NYSC portal.
Uploaded Senate Approved List
The National Youth Service Corps is mandatory for every locally trained and foreign-trained graduates in Nigeria.
Once you are a graduate of an institution, your school will mobilize you for service.
During every batch and stream, all accredited tertiary institutions in Nigeria always releases a senate list.
The NYSC senate approved list is a compilation of names of graduates who have been approved by the senate of their respective institutions to participate in the National Youth Service Corps program in Nigeria.
The list is usually published on the institution’s notice boards, official websites, and also sent to the NYSC for further processing.
Only those graduates whose names appear on the list are eligible to proceed with their NYSC online registration process and participate in the mandatory one-year national service.
If your name is not on this list, you will not be able to do your registration or follow the coming batch or stream.
Contact your institution’s registrar or student affairs division for rectification.
